Pixel Pulse, a website made for gamers, by gamers. Our objective? To create a place that talks about the video game world in a organized, simple, and fashionable way, since one of the biggest problems is finding good places where information about video games is easily accessible. But there’s a twist,… unlike all the other news websites, we won’t be writing our articles. They will be written and published by AI; everything will be done automatically and we won’t have to stress about writing each day a new and interesting article. But how does it work and why is this better? You’ll have to keep reading to find out.

We are a team of three people: Nico, Fabio, and Aldo. Something each Swiss-Ticino student has to do their last 2 years of high school is a year-long research about any topic, which then has to be written in an essay so it can be graded. This is called a LAM (Lavoro di Maturità). At first, when we started our LAM we weren’t sure about what to do, but then we met Fabio. He is an expert programmer who offered his help with our project, so that we could have an actual chance at finishing it. He introduced us to all of the possibilities that programming mixed with AI could offer, and it was astonishing. We decided to do our essay with him, as the topic sounded really interesting and we are both passionate about informatics. So what does our website do? Well, we have been slowly working to create a website that is controlled by AI! Using a long line of code via Python, we have been able to automatically ask ChatGPT questions thanks to it’s API and post them on our website as news articles, all on it’s own! It also observes the interaction each post gets, whether through likes, views, shares, or other, so that it can refine its own prompts and ask precise questions that are more relevant to topics that are gaining the most attention at the current moment. That way you can be sure not to miss out on anything that is being talked about in the video game realm and can stay up to date. It is also capable of automatically assigning posts to various categories without us even having to tell it in which one to put it, as well as adding images to the post. It’s really impressive how you can fully automate a website just by using a program and the API of any AI platform, such as ChatGPT or Gemini, and have it evolve and change it’s current themes by following the interaction each post receives.

Our main goal is simple: We are all huge fans of video games and so we wanted to create a website that could offer insights about the video game world via new releases, tips, new updates, guides, tutorials and so on, so that the readers can find whatever they are looking for in an easy and accessible way and it doesn’t take them hours to find even just one video that barely helps them.
